Developing the Narrative

After going through my proposal in the tutorials and taking down new ideas fom the lecture, I have decided to change my narrative a bit. To include a lot more symbolism I plan to incorporate a house shape into the first photo to represent the piece of makeup leaving their family. I then will have two shots establishing and contrasting the two 'sides', the make up side representing the 'good intentions' of going out by getting dressed up and looking nice, then the 'bad intentions' of drinking. The 'battle' will be represented by the chess board and in this shot both sides face each other. The next shot is of the makeup making the first move (representing the tradition of white making the first move, associating white to be the 'good' side), this also creates a sense of antisipation as to what is going to happen next. The final shot is of absolute carnage leaving the viewer to piece in the blanks but at the end of the night no one really wins.
