Artist Precedents

For this one I liked how the buildings exceed the frame though this does sort of hint a propaganda when considering the subject of the photo being the twin towers. However, this technique could be interesting to incorporate into my project to give a sort of dominant atmosphere that cities sometimes convey.

Here I like the panorama style of the frame which emphases the idea of a city scape.

In this photo the geometric shapes created by the buildings and enhanced by the silhouettes stands out. It would be interesting to try and replicate this effect.

Again the extreme lines with the vanishing point give a nice effect, also I hand't thought about standing directly below the buildings to get a shot.

This photo combines the elements I had in mind for the project. Firstly its a lomograph as well as a city scene, also its a multiple exposure shot. However, for my project I think I will try to avoid using people in the frame because it detracts from the geometric city scape theme.

I really like the effect this photo has of a multiple exposure of a crane. The lines are very strong though it would be interesting to see what it would be like with block shapes.
