Personal Critique

I had a lot of fun experimenting with the medium format film, and if time and money weren't an issue there are a lot more experiments I would have liked to try. Looking back at my original idea of creating a series of cityscapes then projecting onto blocks, may have worked out well but I am happy with the direction that I ended up taking of creating a 3D collage. The final product wasn't perfect because of my own poor time management, the light wooden frames were a lot more flimsy than I predicted and perhaps thick wire frames would have been more effective. To further develop my idea it would have been interesting to take it a tourism promotional tool of different places around New Zealand with the inclusion of iconic land marks.
